In Depth

The resort is scattered up a steep hillside with gently meandering paths between the luxury villas and focal point of the resort: the infinity pool, equipped with sun-loungers and access to the cocktail bar. The villas are traditionally built but contain all the luxury amenities including modern bathrooms and are extremely spacious with large balconies offering stunning views. There is also a two-story villa, ideal for families with older children or friends travelling together.

The full-service restaurant sits to the side of the bar and serves Indonesian and international cuisine, with fantastic views of the pool, Long House (the stunning resort entrance) and out to sea.

The Diving

The PADI dive centre is located right next to the jetty and can cater from beginners right up to tech divers. The fully dedicated technical diving facility with specialist staff and equipment makes the dive setup here particularly unique.

With access to over 90 dive sites, diving will be conducted from one of the purpose-built dive boats which offer freshwater deck showers, catering facilities, toilets and excellent facilities for photographers. Three dives a day are offered and snorkellers are well catered for too. There is also the option for a night dive, which can be enjoyed on the resorts very own reef right from the jetty.

Beyond the Reef

When not diving, head to the resort Spa to unwind from a day of diving. The team can also arrange exploring beyond Bunaken to visit the rainforest, a local market or nearby towns and villages to learn and experience more of this vibrant and colourful environment.

Bunaken are also heavily involved with the local communities and provide support through specific projects such as providing freshwater to the local community, assisting the local primary school with building and maintenance in their onsite carpentary workshop, work placement training for senior pupils from the high school and supporting BunakenCare, a local NGO to name a few.
