Four Seasons Kuda Huraa is located in the North Male Atoll, just a short speedboat ride away from Male meaning that guests can land and be immersed in the turquoise lagoon of the resort within the hour. In Depth

Spread across 12 acres of the island of Kuda Huraa, the resort is made up of thatched beach bungalows and water villas in a classic yet fresh style. The resort is reminiscent of a village and ideal for families with small children as distances between the facilities are minimal. Except the best of the best in terms of Four Seasons service – Dr. Shades may pay a visit to your sunlounger to make sure your sunglasses remain squeaky clean.  

The food offering at the resort is excellent, with five restaurants ranging from overwater dining at Baraabaru inspired by Keralan architecture offering award-winning Indian flavours to Italian cuisine at the al fresco Reef Club. Sunset lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a sundowner, watching the sun melts into the horizon.  

The Diving

The Marine Discovery Centre is where all marine adventures begin and the PADI 5* dive centre will be able to assist beginners to experts. There is an abundance of dive sites to choose from, with tailored programmes for varying abilities and preferences. Two-tank morning dives are offered as will single tank afternoon dives and sunset, night and other speciality dives on request. Guests can also get involved with the centre’s conservation projects to help protect the delicate marine ecosystem surrounding the resort.  

Beyond the Reef

For the adventurer, Four Seasons Kuda Huraa is an excellent option and particularly those that enjoy both diving and surfing. It is a rarity to find somewhere that both can be done in the same day, let alone of world-class standard. The Tropicsurf team are the experts when it comes to surfing, and offer lessons and courses from beginner to expert, as well as the annual surf championships held at the resort. There are also a range of watersports and excursions on offer if this is not enough, and for those that like to relax and unwind, the Island Spa is a real highlight. Located on a separate island, this is a place of complete escape and relaxation that is not to be missed.
