White Exclusive Villas and Suites is arguably the best hotel in the Azores, with excellent attention to detail and a breath-taking location. Service levels are excellent and the hotel’s thoughtful design fits perfectly into its impressive surroundings.
In Depth
This beautiful hotel has only 9 suites and 2 villas, meaning that this is a truly boutique option. The suites and villas are designed in a contemporary minimalist style and are bright and airy, using local materials and plenty of driftwood to give a sense of place and very relaxing atmosphere. There is one main restaurant, Cardume, which serves some of the best food in the Azores, championing local produce and the freshest seafood. You can enjoy a tasting menu or pick from the varied a la carte menu which changes with the seasons.
The Diving
Our preferred dive centre is located in Vila Franca do Campo, a 15 minute drive from White Villas and Suites, so we recommend that you have a hire car during your stay. They operate two dives per day from RIBS, in the morning and afternoon. The local sites are lovely with great visibility and plenty of marine life to see, while more experienced divers can head out to the offshore sites when the season is right for a chance to encounter some exciting pelagic species such as mantas, mobulas and a variety of shark species.
Beyond the Reef
White Exclusive Villas and Suites is a lovely place to relax and soak up the stunning views. Guests can book a treatment at the on-site spa, or for those looking for something more adventurous we can arrange a number of excursions such as canyoning, hiking, swimming with wild dolphins, whale-watching or kayaking trips. There is so much to see and do on this vibrant island depending on your interests. White even have their own boat to arrange sunset trips or a day of adventure on the water.
