In Depth

Spread over four decks, the Nautilus Belle Amie has been built for stability and ocean crossings, particularly good for getting out to Socorro and Isla Guadalupe. The width of the vessel means that the space across all four decks is astounding, offering suites with full king-size beds and huge sun and dive decks. The 17 staterooms and suites are located across the lower, main and wheelhouse decks and are extremely comfortable, with varying categories meaning there is something for everyone. The most economical option is the triple stateroom on the lower deck through to the Premium Suites which are ideal for those looking for that extra bit of luxury, with large windows, California King bed and double sinks.

The vessel is ultra-silent with heavy sound proofing, so a good night's sleep is always on the cards. Public areas on the boat do not disappoint, with large saloon and dining areas and the impressive sundeck is equipped with hot tub, plenty of sun-loungers and an open-air bar. Delicious, healthy food is served onboard with three meals a day and additional snacks for those hungry after the dives.

The Diving

The dive deck and water-level platform take up nearly half of the main deck and diving onboard the Nautilus Belle Amie is seamless. A large camera table and dive benches means ample space for divers to gear up and most diving takes place from skiffs, whisking divers to and from the dive sites and making sure there is no hanging around at the surface.

Diving schedules will vary depending on the location, with up to four dives a day being the norm. Nitrox is offered onboard as well as being rebreather friendly, a rarity on liveaboards. The crew provide safe and incredible diving experiences, passionate and enthusiastic about the marine environment. The Nautilus also a range of courses which can be taken at the dive centre in Cabo or onboard. They offer a complimentary underwater photography workshop on their trips for guests to hone their skills, or they can take it further with a one-to-one Backscatter course with a photo pro.
