Overview

Senja is a one-cabin luxury Indonesian phinisi perfect for a couple look for the ultimate way to explore remote regions of Indonesia. The all-Indonesian crew of 10 look after guests fantastically, and itineraries are built around guests' preferences and interests. Up to four dives per day can be arranged, as well as a host of land-based activities so that guests can truly explore their destination above and below the waves. 

In Depth

With a spacious and private air-conditioned master cabin with its own private swim/shower deck, en suite bathroom with a rain shower and impressive views, and a comfortable super king sized bed, Senja's cabin is hard to vacate when it is time to go diving or exploring. The boat's main areas are thoughtfully planned including a shaded dining area and panoramic sun deck and comfortable lounging spots. There is a second, smaller cabin below deck with an en suite bathroom too should guests need it. 

As a private charter, guests can discuss their dietary preferences and create menus with the talented chef who can whip up traditional Indonesian dishes, pan-Asian fare and international favourites. The team are charming and look after guests with warmth and professionalism.

The Diving

Diving from Senja couldn't be easier, with the team looking after all of your equipment, washing and reassembling it in between dives. Catering to all experience levels, the team will tailor guests' diving around interests and abilities. Up to four dives per day are available and (within safety limits) bottom times are not limited. Senja has a nitrox compressor on board and her team are immaculately professional in their guiding and safety procedures. The diving takes place from the zodiac which waits for divers at the surface during dives. Senja's dive team are incredibly knowledgable, experienced and enthusiastic, creating a fantastic diving environment. She frequents all of the best diving areas in Indonesia including Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Komodo, the Forgotten Islands, the Banda Sea, Alor and Sulawesi. 

Beyond the Reef

Senja's cruise director liaises with guests to create an itinerary and dive/activity schedule to suit guests' interests and preferences. This includes land excursions, watersports, secluded beach barbecue setups, massages, or selecting the best moorings for an afternoon swim. With stand-up paddleboards and kayaks on board, guests can explore beautiful coastal inlets. The team can arrange excursions dependent on the cruising area including nature walks, visiting the Komodo dragons, spotting the Red Bird of Paradise, swims in stingless jellyfish lakes, hikes to volcano craters, local village visits and more.
